Q.In the Personnel Details screen, the Department listing window is overlapping with the Dept window. How do I fix this?

A. The display settings of your computer is not fully compatible with the Directory module's requirements. Click on Start>Settings>Control Panel. Double-click Display, then click on the Settings tab. You need to change the Display scheme to Windows Standard and Font Size to Small Fonts, in the Display Properties of Control Panel. We would also recommend a screen area of at least 800x600 and High Colour (16Bit). These settings will allow you to view the information in your reports more easily.

Q. I want to export my Directory database. What formats can I export to?

A. Phone Control supports the following file formats; Microsoft Write (*.wri), Rich Text Format (*RTF) (eg. Microsoft Word, Wordpad), Comma Delimited (*.csv) (eg. Excel, Access), Plain Text (*.asc), Formatted Text (*.txt), Paradox (*.db) and DataBase (*.dbf).  The most popular format used is CSV for Microsoft Excel.   PhoneControl Version 5 also supports HTML.

Q. How many records can the PhoneControl Directory store?

A.There is no limit to what the Directory can store, it is only restricted by available disk space. There are some clients with 20,000 records! However, PhoneControl Lite is limited to 100 extensions and PhoneControl Xpress to 32 extensions.
